Good morning, Marcin. Could you tell us about your role at Berg Roses and how long you've been working here?
I've been working at Berg Roses for 10 years now. My duties involve maintaining various systems such as lamps, greenhouses, LED lights, and water pumps. From replacing broken lamps to fixing water pipes, I ensure that everything runs smoothly. If there are major issues, we call in external experts, but I handle small repairs with ease. Additionally, I'm responsible for maintaining electric vehicles and performing minor repairs on machinery. Every day is different, and that's what makes the work exciting.

What makes Berg Roses a unique place to work?
The past 7 years have flown by, and now, already 10 years in, I've been working at Berg Roses! What really sets us apart is that we're provided with all the tools and resources we need to do our job well. If something is missing, it's promptly arranged for us. The company invests in new machines and technologies, allowing us to constantly learn and grow in our field.

What aspects of your work do you find most challenging and why?
Probably the most challenging aspect of my work is being on call for maintenance services. It requires problem-solving skills and quick action to identify and resolve the cause of a breakdown. Every breakdown is different, and that keeps it exciting.

Can you describe a typical workday?
Each day starts at 7 a.m. with a team meeting at the office. We discuss the tasks for the day and make a plan. Then we get to work, depending on the priorities set. My tasks range from performing repairs to ordering spare parts and keeping records.

What skills are essential to be successful in your role?
Flexibility and a hands-on mentality are essential. Our work doesn't have fixed hours, and sometimes we need to show extra effort, especially during maintenance services. It's also important to have a basic understanding of mechanics and electronics, and to be able to collaborate well in a team with diverse backgrounds.

Do you have a specific project or achievement at Berg Roses that you're proud of?
I'm always proud when I successfully solve a problem and repair something. It feels good to contribute to the smooth operation of the company.
